Maybe your friend is a beast to his other friends, but from what I saw on his videos is that I have a 9 year old in one of my jiu jitsu classes that is a beast compared to the guys he fought. Anyways, go ahead find Josh O'Neill and inquire about joining his dojo or one of his classes. If he's not there anymore, I'm not too sure about what other options there are in that area for MMA. I do know there's a couple Tae Kwan Do, and I think an Aikido dojo in Junction City. Basically, he should find out what martial art resources, mixed or not, or available in your area and train for awhile before he decides he wants to be a mixed martial artist.
Thanks, I don't think Josh is here anymore. I actually started training, and am going to start training again with Joe Wilk, He's in Manhattan, That's the closest i've found to doing BJJ and MMA. Yea I believe they have a Muay Thai gym in Junction City, and Karate/Tae won do in Manhattan too. Thanks for all the advice, I'll pass it on.
