Sup, I'm Rob and I'm 15 years old.
Me and my mate are starting MMA at a club called Caged Steel at the begining of december. We have both loved fighting for ages and we enjoy watching UFC on TV.
I have 11 years of karate experience, 6 years of kickboxing experience and 2 years boxing experience. My mate has 6 years of taikwondoe experience.
I'm setting up a gym in my garage where I will work out, train with my friend and practice before fights, but I need to know what to include in the gym and the things that i need to work out on (ie. Shoulders, Abs, Arms etc.)
I also need to learn about food supplements and diets, training routines and the things I need before starting (ie. shorts, gloves)
If you can help me with these or give me any advice about starting MMA it will be appriciated.
Well experience wise you need to get seem ground training in.. As for equipment.. man decent mats basic weights and a heavy bag are about all you need to get started.. you could get a full list of stuff but it can get expensive quick
