I like title's products. They definitely are worth the cost, which is actually pretty damn good. And along the lines of mouth guards, when I first started I tried a self-mold from Dick's and it sucked horrendously, so if you can swing it, go for a dentistry provided mouth guard. Also for training, unless you are relying on padding in the gloves, I'd very much suggest head protection. I've been and caused moments of cross-eyed in the past. And its drastically lessened with headgear present.
