Anyway unless its a high security or Federal job the odds of this being an issue are not huge.

And depending on the company or agency??? Is it a government job local or fed??? In short some go deeper than others, in reality if you have ever been charged with anything...its gonna show up, you need to get a good attorney and get it expounged from your record, thats of course assuming you got an attorney for the battery charge, if you were adjudicated no contest, or cannot get it exponged.....
