OK, well saying your intestine is ambiguous. The colon is the largest segment of the large intestine. Furthermore, diverticulitis is almost always found in the large intestine. That being said, I would wager it was likely his colon. Saying colon and intestine in this instance are analogous.
It's obviously a possibility, I simply meant to imply that at no time was it ever reported that the perforation was in fact in his colon.
Also, Brock's 'minor' operation does not really seem to fall in line with the four hour surgery removing a foot of his colon that IlliniPhil was describing in his experience above.
