You can call me FighterX. I am 17. I have just started my journey into the world of MMA. I live in the Midwest, where fighting is not only accepted, but those who have the courage to trod that path find themselves somewhat of local celebrities. At the beginning of my junior year of high school, I was just a casual fan watching the UFC every once in a while, and going to local fights when they rolled through. I wrestled from the time I could walk, until my seventh grade year. I had a wrestling dad, one that pushed and pushed, and I got burned out. I took two years off, and have finally made my way back, without the urging of my father this time. Now that I am back on the mat, I can't face a life without it. Training is my heroin. It is what keeps me moving. It is why I live. I'm up before the sun, and in bed well after. Just so that I can find the time to sweat, bleed, and puke for this sport. I see MMA as the materialization of everything I've ever wanted. It gives me a reason to push myself, to make myself better. I have decided that I will do whatever it takes to get there. One day you will know me as one of the greatest fighters to ever live. I know that for sure. I have started this thread to record what I will go through every day as I make my way there. I hope for your feedback, support, and help as I make my journey.

Thank you,
Peace and love,
