Some type of training, other than your mma/boxing/w.e class , is in my opinion really needed. With MMA being a sport very reliant on your strength and power, id suggest you either hit up a gym every other day. If you cant get to a gym or get a hold of some weights, no biggie. Cardio, and Body Weight exercises are great.
