Hardy is going to get the biggest GSP we have seen.... He already took down Alves at WILL, im seriously starting to feel bad for the Brit

Thanks for the Interview MK ;)

I don't think he needs to worry about his training partners at MW. I mean of course, I would like him to fight Cote, Nate and so on.. but there are enough great challenges for him. A lot more challenges than at 170.

My take on this is, that he just wants some more time for the titel shot against Anderson! If he moves up he will get a titel shot immediately.

He says its because of his Friends in MW, but u could Def be right about not wanting Anderson YET.

I wouldn't want to fight Anderson unless i had the perfect game plan and i KNEW i could beat him

i always wondered too, where do you inject? feet?? butt?? how do you flush it out before any tests?? how do you mask?? what over the counter stuff also helps?? viagra?? cold medicine??

Dude is definitely referring to Mousasi as his new training partner...

And putting on 8lbs of LBM in 3 months is easy -- Especially for a disciplined PRO athlete like GSP with money to burn on a nutritionist and training. But just adding pure mass (like this case or Mir) is only half the task -- It's incorporating that added LBM into functional strength that is the key...

Glad he isn't into yoyo-ing up and down with weight. I think that is hard on your body and permanently moving up is the way to go.

However him saying "I have lots of challenges at 170, it is a deep division." is a little dissappointing. Yeah it is a pretty deep division but you beat all the top ranked guys already. I don't think there really are that many challenges left. You already beat the #2-#6 guys and beat them easily.

"I'll never fight a friend or training partner". Ughhghghghg. I don't want to re open that thread yet again and I'm a huge GSP fan but I think he is severely lacking in perspective when he says this.

Yeah i agree, and with only Daley as his only good fighter he hasn't fought yet, i dont know what is going to be exciting watching a bunch of Rematches getting slaughtered

Exactly! Thats why i love when people bring up the Serra fight!

Im like dude thats the REASON why Hardy wont win, is because he wont take ANY fight lightly anymore.... That makes him even more screwed how does that help???

It doesnt prove he cant beat mid competition because he proved he can beat A class fighters time and time again

I for one am happy that happened

He forgot to mention that one of the easiest ways to gain lean muscle and lose fat is to have a nutritionist and a cook and never have to cook or shop for yourself.

It sounded like he's still allowed poutine and red wine here and there.

Let Nate and Rashad make a run for the title, then go up to 185......please Georges, please.

"My division is pretty stack, I have a lot of challenges at 170, always" :confused02: is he talking about the UFC?

For 185, Marquardt, Cote, Loiseau, Kang, "and others" are his friends he won't fight. Yet Kang and Loiseau got dropped from the organization and the other two he named he really shouldn't have to worry about fighting.

Not hating, GSP is a tremendous athelete, ever since he focused more on wearing down his opponent and his ground game and less on standing and trading he's looked unstoppable, buuuuuuut he just seems to be fishing to avoid 185.

Nice interview man, but tbh at the moment I'm enjoying watching GSP take out all contenders at WW. Maybe after he defends it 1/2 more times after Hardy, he'll move up to MW.

Now, is it just me - or when he does fight at MW, who wants to see Sonnen v GSP?

I think some strikers in the 185 pound division have more power on their feet then Georges; like Henderson, Franklin, W. Silva, and A. Silva; but Georges is good at fighting smart on his feet. If hes outmatched on his feet you better believe he can take any of these guys down..

You can be an excellent striker, but if you can't stop takedowns your screwed as soon as the cage door closes.

I'd like to see GSP move up more then anyone [especially so BJ can move up to WW] but I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon, which is a real pity. If he did, I'd like to see him fight Sonnen first, who he'd make look average, then have a shot at Silva. Pity it won't be for a long, long time.

I like that Sonnen Idea, that would be fun just to see there wrestling styles collide

And GSP would want to revenge his friend Nate I say GSP 2nd round but a sick ass 2 rounds it would be

What i realy like about St. Pierre is his work ethic.
He has certain rules that he follows and he knows that by doing this, the results will come.

I would love to see him fight at MW and the fight i would love to see GSP in (besides Anderson and Vitor) is Sonnen.
2 great wrestlers against each other. Should be nice.

I would like to see him fight Sonnen as well, that would be classic.

The one thing that I see Sonnen having trouble with though like many before him is the unpredictability of GSP.

He makes you think every time, and that is difficult to deal with.

Sonnen would have to take charge of the takedown attempts, right away. If he could do that, he could beat Georges at his own game.

...Like he needs more for the division...lol! Maybe more to possibly fight Anderson. I can't begin to say how one sided this fight is going to be. Hardy is a good striker. All he can hope for is a Serra punch. It won't happen. GSP will push Hardy like he's NEVER been pushed before. This fight won't go all 5. Pierre should get a TKO via Ref stoppage by rd. 3...
