Where to train?

I have an ethical dilemma concerning where I should be training. I live in Kamloops, British Columbia. Over here, we only have 2 schools for fighting, MMA and muay thai.

I have trained extensively in both gyms and currently I cannot decided which gym to join and start fighting under. The level of training in the MMA gym is sub par and not quite close to the level of training needed for high performance fighting...and its evidenced in the number of fighters in that gym who lose in fights, which is greater than winning. Case in point, the coaching is not good.

So is it ethical to desire training to fight in a different sport (muay thai) when the level of coaching and preparation for fights is much much more intensive, but produces greater winning results?
That is what the muay thai gym in my city is like and the intensity of training matches the needs of a high performance fighter. The training was designed to break you pretty much.

I have trained extensively at both gyms and enjoy both sports, but i cant decide where to go. I want to win and start having fights, i also do not mind hard work.

So all in all, is it ethical for me to want to fight muay thai over mma because the level of coaching available to me is much better for muay thai?
