For the last 2 weeks I've been training my bird to fly to me directly using a millet treat. I do this by holding my hand flat and having her millet in my palm. Today I was trying to find the remote near the couch, and I looked over at her on her cage, stuck my hand out and said "come here", which is the command I use for her to fly to me, and without a treat or anything she flew allllll the way to my hand.
Do you realize how amazing it is to have a bird fly to you anytime you want? Just stick out your hand and say come here?
An amazing feeling, and an amazing sight, too.
