Hey everyone, I'm Danalee. Let me tell you a bit about my history.
I was looking to start cardio kickbox as a way to lose weight, and I saw an ad for Tiger Schulmann. I did the 2 class trial, and it wasn't the cardio kickbox I was looking for...they were doing Muay Thai. After the classes, I realized I wanted to actually start getting into MMA seriously, and not the cardio kickboxing after all. I'm looking at 2 centers that offer BJJ, grappling, and Muay Thai, and I eventually want to start fighting competitively. I turned 21 a month ago, and hope that I'm not too old to start. I know I don't have any experience (except for a couple of street fights as a kid, and growing up as the only chick in my family  ) but I've grown passionately about the sport in a very short amount of time. I admit I know NOTHING about MMA, and to be honest, I don't care much for watching it (or any other sport for that matter), but I want to become a real fighter. I would love any tips/your experiences/etc. The 2 places near me are Warrington Xtreme MMA & BJJ United in Jenkintown, so any reviews on these places would be very helpful. I look forward to your responses!
