I have done everything I can. We've been to counseling. I've been to counseling alone, although I look back now, and don't know why. She kept saying she wanted to be with me, but never acted on it.
I heard a quote one time, "The biggest illusion that humans have is the thought that they can change one another." I don't know who said it, but it absolutely makes sense.
When you're with a female, and you hear them all the time, as a guy, you think you don't want to hear it. Then, you don't hear it, and realize how much you miss it.
On a side note, I want whiskey.
