Devila with a second round sub, good call John

Round 1 - Davila takes the center of the cage. He misses a big hook, but Spratt dodges and lands a straight. Spratt backs away and resets. he pushes into the clinch. Davila circles off and they break. Big left for Davila. Spratt tries to answer, but he slips n a kick. Davila latches onto a guillotine choke, but he falls. He returns to the feet. Spratt clinches and lands a knee before moving away. Spratt with a nice combo of speedy punches to the dome. Davila just walks through them and moves into the cage. Nothing there, and Spratt slips away. Davila fires a punch to the gut. Spratt jabs, but Davila answers with a few strong straights. Nice lead right for Spratt. Kick to the body for Spratt thuds hard. Davila pushes in, but Spratt walks away. This cage is really big. Spratt jabs, and Davila counters. Dvila with a nice right hand. Both guys content to trade single shots at this point. Spratt certainly has the speed advantage, but the power appears to favor Davila. Spratt lands two punches and avoids a Davila counter. Spratt shoots in and lands it, but Davila pops right back up and pushes into the cage. Spratt sprawls, but he hits the deck. Davila has side control briefly. Spratt rolls to his knees. Round ends there. Close round. Not much for either side, and sees it 10-9, Spratt, very narrowly.

Round 2 - Faster start to open, but only for a moment. Nothing major lands, and they move into the clinch. Knees traded inside, and Spratt pushes his foe to the cage. He tries to break away, though he catches a right as he retreats. Spratt lands twice to the gut, and Davila kicks low. Spratt certainly more active on the feet, but Davila seems unfazed by the blows. Davila finally releases his hands, but Spratt just walks away. Spratt gets tagged by a few punches in a flurry, but an accidental clash heads causes a brief break. Crowd doesn't like it, and Spratt moves back in quickly. Spratt still light on his feet, but Davila is starting to attack. He drops Spratt with a knee to the head as he ducks in, and Davila rushes in. Spratt scrambles, but he's caught in a guillotine choke. Davila drops down, and it's tight. Spratt has no choice but to tap. Eric Davila def. Pete Spratt via submission (guillotine choke) - Round 2, 3:49.
