Thing is, Koscheck didn't even seem that bad in the first season of TUF. All I remember seeing is him basically giving Chris Leben back after Leben tried taking the piss out of him and others. All he showed is he could be nasty right back to nasty people. The Koscheck we are seeing now is completely different though. He's a weirdo instigator and the more I think about it, the more legit he seems when it comes to that type of behaviour. It's not a character or showmanship or whatever, it's Koscheck. What a prick.
