Beginner with a few questions.
Hello everyone. I just recently joined an MMA gym so I could start learning bjj and lose some weight. Right now I'm about 6' 265lbs. I was wondering if there was anything extra I should do to drop weight besides the classes. I've only been there for 2 weeks, and have only been to 4 classes, but it seems like I should do something else on the side. I don't want to over train and hurt myself or anything considering I'm new. Just looking for some opinions.
The gym I go to also offers Boxing Technique and Conditioning, and Muay Thai. They have a bunch of bikes/treadmills etc, but the actual weight room is kinda off limits unless you're doing personal training.
