it's a hell of a lot more reasonable than him fighting little gsp since his walk around weight is that of a lhw. how the hell is that unreasonable? no one complained about a disadvantage for silva during the time when there was so much talk about him fighting machida, but now after machida's destruction by shogun it's a different story in regards to silva fighting shogun. in an interview, sometime after silva's refusal to fight machida and machida's loss to shogun, he said he was no longer interested in fighting at light heavyweight. it doesn't seem like dana is preventing it. if dana is then dana's trying to protect him from defeat in order to build his legacy, for some odd reason (silva vs shogun would obviously be a great draw for the sport).
