jdshank has a little shameless behaviour in the past
College Wrestling

I've never wrestled in high school but I took a Uechi-Ryu class that had Krav Maga and BJJ lessons.

I plan on attending the Gracie Barra school at the UCF campus. After I got a black belt (if it takes 2 years or less) I was planning on trying college wrestling IF bjj is ok to use?

Sorry if this sounds totally dumb because I am new.

1. Would they even let me wrestle since I have no experience and is college a bad place to start a sport like wrestling?

2. Is BJJ allowed in wrestling and if so, would it be sufficient to get me up to a good level if I wanted to tryout for college wrestling after 2 years or so of training?

Again if this is totally dumb I apologize just let me know. Also if it isn't possible, will the Gracie Barra school have other competitions I could get into or point me to them?
