This is very true but it doesn't just apply to Melvin, but Siver and a lot of others, I think people really gave up on everyone at 155 in large part because of the fact BJ was so dominant, Edgar had just beat Matt Veach and Maynard had the awful performance against Nate. When BJ was defeated it really opened the door and made this division as wide open as it is.
