Thanks for the reply. Yeah I wasn't sure how effective a leg kick could be if your in a quick street brawl that doesn't last long, at the same time though, I've never taken a brutal leg kick in a fight so I am not sure the effectiveness of said kick. But good to know, I need to get a little more flexible, so I can get my leg up to someones head. Best I can throw without going completely off balance is a kick to the shoulder.
