The UFC, post-merger is looking pretty dull. Same thing happened to WWE after they absorbed WCW and ECW.

Strikeforce and the UFC haven't merged, and Jake Shields was in the UFC months before Strikeforce was purchased. Also, not a single Strikeforce fighter has fought in the UFC since the buyout.
And the bolded statement doesn't any sense.
