I passed the belt testing today, and as of now I'm a blue belt in judo.
And what a weird testing it was...
The head of the testing committee was a 5th DAN black belt, and what a strange guy he was. He was very demanding for details, and he was insisting that some of the techniques were done to his liking.
Most of my test I spent on the ground and even there h managed to slip in a few details I wasn't prepared for. And I thought I knew every possible thing it could come for my current level. I'm very meticulous and nitpicking when I learn techniques. Guess I was wrong...
I have a mixed feelings about the whole thing. Oh well, it's over now, and I feel I've got be more meticulous and more knowledge-thirsty. I definitely have much more to learn.
