First off everyone who has been in this game for awhile has been where you are - totally new. If you truly want to learn this stuff you need to get into a gym. Period. There are no short cuts.
Videos and asking for advise just won't cut it as a newbie. For example, you need a physical coach at your current stage to point out the physical aspects of things like your posture, how to turn your hips into a strike, etc. Without that kind of personalized instruction all you're doing is going thru the motions and developing bad habits. Once you've spent some time in a gym and developed an understanding of the basics then videos can become helpful.
