All of the suspensions were issued to fighters who suffered knockout losses. The precautionary layoffs range from 30 days to 60 days.

Although not officially suspended, co-main-event winner and grand-prix finalist Daniel Cormier also faces a likely layoff. The fighter injured his hand during his win over Silva, and he has planned to get X-rays to determine the extent of the damage. The finale of the grand prix, which is slated for early 2012, hinges on his recovery.
