Thanks for the advice guys, I had no idea about ginger roots positive effects on Nausea.

There must have been some thing in the chicken soup, because I'm actually feeling quite a bit better now. Had my soup, then managed to get a good couple of hours sleep, woke up feeling a lot better. Hardly any nausea and feel like my strength is coming back.
