Here's a question for a more educated person regarding various martial art styles. I'm looking for a martial art that has powerful close-ranged striking, and effective counter-attacks that lead to throws or take-downs that could subdue an opponent, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not looking for a martial art that just has one of these two attributes, like Aikido or Muay Thai, but one that would encompass both sides of the spectrum. Thanks.
