This dude is no joke, he sparred two round with JDS, hard. Lost via KO but still, he did better than a few top HWs. I laughed all the way through, guys a legend.
The reporter definitely looked like he narrowly avoiding getting his lights put out when he took him down, that knee wasn't as hard as it could have been, but it wouldn't have been pretty.
Not bad dude's got balls. Still, Bones was going less than 20% and that guy was going nuts, it's not that big a deal. Most of the guys he faced were just humoring him while he was going crazy.
But yeah takes a lot of guts to open up like that on an elite fighter twice your size.
I don't know if it's the same guy but I saw a vid of a reporter and Kampmann and Kampman was barely landing shots and knocking this guy down. So funny.

Oh that one was feckin hilarious! It's a different one. Kampmann busts combos on him that seemingly looked weak, but knocked him around silly. Kinda like the "light" right kick thrown by Cerrone that knocks the kid out.
That reporter is crazy as hell, but respects goes to Jon Jones for holding his composure. I'm surprise Jones did not turn it up as it looked like the reporter was going hard. Wandy would definitely kick the reporters ass in similar situation.
