Officials today announced Bobby Brents (12-2) will take on fellow American heavyweight Chris Barnett (7-1) in the night's headliner.

The bout joins previously announced middleweight-tournament semifinal fights of Chris Fields (9-3) vs. John Phillips (14-4) and Faycal Hussin (7-2) vs. Victor Cheng (8-2).

Cage Warriors Fight Night 5 takes place April 12 at New Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. In addition to the main card on, Cage Warriors' Facebook page carries the prelims.

Brents, who's part of Fiore MMA in Illinois, recently submitted Rogent Lloret at Cage Warriors 45. It marked his third straight win and his 12th victory in his past 13 fights. The lone loss came to Stipe Miocic, who later signed with the UFC.

He takes on XFC veteran Barnett, who's looking to build off recent victories over Mario Rinaldi and Walter Harris that followed a loss to current top Bellator heavyweight contender Eric Prindle. An agile striker who's competed at super heavyweight, Barnett first came to prominence after winning an XFC open tryout.

In addition to that headliner and the tourney fights, Cage Warriors Fight Night 5's main card includes middleweights Mike Ling (8-3) vs. Eric Cebarec (8-5), bantamweights James Brum (8-2) vs. Thomas Back (5-4), and featherweights Jean N'Doye (5-0) vs. Liam James (5-3).

The three preliminary-card bouts part of the Facebook stream include light heavyweights Mohamed Ali (4-3) vs. Doo Hwan Kim (3-0), bantamweights Kris Edwards (6-3) vs. Janne Elonen-Kulmala (4-2), and lightweights Kevin Donnelly (6-4) vs. Piotr Hallman (8-1).
