Unusual guillotine to "cutter" move I saw.

I seen a teacher in a mma fight in my local town mma class get a guillotine on a guy then pivot into a 180 degree "cutter" fall too the ground and tko the guy I guess. They stopped the match. I thought the dudes jaw must've been separated. The nearest thing me and my friends could liken it to was the old wwe wrestler Matt hardys "twist of fate" is this a normal mma move what's the deal? It was pretty neat just wondering if other fighters use this. Any ideas about it?
