Could be a tremendous fight. I'd still favor hari though. The smaller Saki was able to eek out a decision against Ghita and Hari is better than Saki, simple as that.
Awesome that you guys have a top level fighter.
Thing with Ghita is....he evolved tremendously in the last 2 years.
I remember when i first saw him fight on a local promotion, Local Kombat.
Him and his cousin, Ciprian Sora, were hailed as the best Romania had to offer in this sport.
They were beating a lot of cans, but once they started fighting medium to high level fighters they crumbled, especially Sora, losing back to back KO's against Vondracek.
Ghita lost himself by KO against Gregory, but he avenged that loss by inflicting a vicious KO to the frenchman.
He moved his camp to Holland and really started improving. First of all, he aded some much needed muscle mass to his frame, because he was kinda skinny for his size. He was getting overpowered by his opponents.
He improved his technique drastically and really sharpened his main weapon - the leg kicks. IMO he has the best leg kicks in the world, any sport, discipline, weight class.
You could say he is the new Aerts. He literally chops his opponents' legs and makes them squict. this is how he won a tournament in Japan, beating all his opponents by TKO, leg kicks.
He has losses against Saki, Schilt or Gerges, but he avenged his UD loss against Gerges, by stopping him, en-route to capturing the Showtime HW belt this year. He is undefeated in the last 12 months. Has a 6 fight winning streak, all stoppages.
He seems to have UPPED a level.
He is definitely TOP 3-5 in the world.
At this level it matters what form you have on the day of the fight and the smallest mistakes count also.
A fight against Hari would be trully amazing at this point.
Hari didn't look like his usual today, but in fact, this is him. If he can't finnish his opponent quickly he seems to fade. His conditioning wasn't up to par today. He slowed down a lot....
But, enough about hypothetical situations.
Let's just look to the future and hope that the new K1 is here to stay.
