I've said a while ago that I think Judo may be the next art that will have a significant impact in MMA. In particular for those fighters coming from a BJJ background as Judo would be the "natural" link between the stand up striking and the grappling on the ground for them (Judo, which focusses more on stand up grappling, is the parent art of BJJ, which focusses more on ground grappling, but they still have a lot of common principles so it's somewhat natural to link both arts). It could fill in the wrestling gap for them, as Judo throws would place their opponents in a slightly better position to start to grapple on the ground whereas wrestling puts them more in a position for ground 'n pound.
