All the circumstances leading up to the fight were negative for Rua, but the fight is the only part people will remember, it's the only part that matters when looking through the history books.

Bad time for Shogun, I remember Dana's little speech at the pre-fight conference, 'No matter what happens tomorrow night, Shogun is one of the nastiest fighters the sport has seen and will always be a legend...etc.' He knew Shogun was in a bad spot, but the show must go on.

Just watch the way he came out with a looping right hand, he wanted to finish that fight ASAP. At least he turned up, that's more than can be said for Jon right now.
