It's not really a deliberate thing. Jones and Kos put their hand out to keep their opponent at least at distance. Their hands are generally open but they wont be thinking about it. Also, people are basically jumping into the fingers, so it's kind of the aggressors fault. If he was moving his head more, he'd be able to slip under the hand and get some attacks off.

On the ground it's not as big of a problem. I dont see properly bad eye poles too often. Someone uses their hand to push themself up but it's literally the only way they can create some space for GnP.

I dont think it's that big of an issue and it doesnt happen that often. Whenever it does, I think it's dealt with pretty well.
