The part timers and mid tiered fighters are gonna have a tough road ahead of em. The up and comers know the game, have footage, able to train in a competitive environment, and have mentorship with champs.

I alway root for the consumate journeyman, but that time is slowly closing. If you're not a PRO and you don't have resources at your disposal then you won't be able to cross train at an optimal level.
It pains me to hear stories like Jeff Monson living out of his car at one point, Pat Barry eating ketchup and rice, Hallman having no resources to hire lawyers...that was until the UFC intervened.
