Video is very large and still in raw format. I will do some editing and render it and upload to youtube. I am fighting from a very square stance. I am an MMA striker so a square stance is required as it is a counter to the takedown. Wide, I would say shoulder width apart then lag foot is at about a 45 degree angle and hips are fairly square.
From rimshot range I would open a combo with a lead hook, usually set up off the right hand or feint with the right which means the left shoulder and hip is coiled to unwind and deliver a powerful hook. I am wondering if shoulder strength is not holding me back. I started boxing fairly late. I think I have and advantage on the lag side because of golf and several other bat sports where you have to clear the left hip and really drive the right side into the ball.
