Actually there's one big difference, when Rampage finally gets someone in a position where he can unload some punches he hesitates and lets the guy get away or he throws a quick combo of ineffective punches and then steps back and resets. Hendo doesn't give his opponents that chance to get away, he unloads without hesitation and more often than not the other guy will get knocked out cold or take serious damage in the exchange.
Yea, I agree. Hendo is obviously better at this stage. A lot better. And he will throw that right over and over in exchanges.
But if Machida doesn't engage much, there is no place for that H-Bomb to land. If he plays the keep away game for 2 rounds it will be Hendo walking around the cage after him with his hand cocked.
Hendo wouldn't be wise to come out guns blazing. He really needs to be the counter puncher. But Machida is that way as well. He will out time you and like Hendo. If Machida isn't in the pocket, Hendo will just wait it out.
