What he's needed so far was to fight low level fighters. He isn't technically that great or intelligent. Maldonado isn't the best boxer in the division. Neither of these guys have proven themselves at top level of the division. Rampage may seem declining and unmotivated but he's gone through WAY more quality competition and done well and has rarely if ever been bested purely in boxing.
If Glover comes in sloppy like he did against Maldonado Rampage will make him pay.
He was only sloppy when Maldonado was pretty much out of it and he clearly acknowledged his mistake. Rampage would have a hard time in a straight boxing match against Maldonado....
