Pearson is stalking. His clubbing punches are hurting Sotiropoulos, who's not quite clear-headed yet. Sotiropoulos on his bike. Leg kick chops Sotiropoulos down, but Pearson doesn't follow. Sotiropoulos lands with rigt hand Pearson chases again with punches. He's measuring his strkes out, closing and looking for the right moment. He catches vSotiropoulos' kick but doesn't use it for a takedown. Left hook for Pearson, and they trade jabs. Superman attempt for Pearson. Sotiropoulos ducks under Pearson's punches and scoops up the Brit for a takedown. Pearson pops up, but Sotiropoulos gets to his back. He's high, though. Pearson gets up with Sotiropoulos still affixed to his back, and for a second, it looks like Sotiropoulos will get the choke. Pearson dives forward and sends them crashing to the mat at the bell. MMAjunkie.com scores the round 10-9 for Pearson.

Round 2 - Pearson resumes stalking and fires off a let kick. Sotiropoulos jabbing in. He goes high with a kick. Pearson lands to the body in counter. Sotiropoulos jabbing and moving. Pearson digs to the body again. Pearson slips a jab. Sotiropoulos tentatively jabs. Next exchange, he pops Pearson. Pearson ducks under the next one and resumes his pursuit. Nice body counter and jab counters from Sotiropoulos. Overhand right glances for Pearson. Nice jab for Sotiropoulos. Pearson digs to the body. They trade jabs. Pearson's timing is a little off if this round, though he's countering well. Sotiropoulos on the other hand is putting together combos better. Two minutes left, and a jab pops Pearson. Sotiropoulos using his length, but nearly eats a left hook. Nice lead to the body from Pearson. Sotiropoulos dropped with a left hook counter, but he's up and moving. He ducks under for a shot on the next exchange. Nothing doing. Pearson with another left hand counter. Pearson slips on a kick and winds up defending a takedown as the round comes to an end. Clinch fighting, and Pearson chases with punches to close out frame. MMAjunkie.com scores the frame 10-9 for Pearson, putting him up 20-18.

Round 3 - Sotiropoulos jabs, and another left hand clips him,sending him to the mat. He's on wobbly leg as he gets to his feet, and Pearson is battering him back. A straight jab lands like TNT for Pearson, who drops Sotiropoulos and finishes him off with a few punches. The Brit vaults on the cage to celebrate. Ross Pearson def.
