Speaking of that, I downloaded the re-release of FF7 last night for PC, it has upgraded visuals (HD character models), one problem - there's a giant black bar across the bottom of the screen no matter what resolution you use.

This is extremely annoying and for an "HD re-release" that is supposed to support all resolutions, it's stupid.
