If their tactic has changed my money is on Viacom/Spike being behind it. Earlier, Rebney was very respectful of Eddie's wishes and said they would make this process as quick and painless as possible. Apparently he failed to check with corporate.

If true, it is quite sad and could hurt future deals with potential fighters. Contract or not, if a person does not want to work for you why would you make them. It just makes you look like a scumbag. Even the UFC allows fighters out if they no longer want to do business with them.
