I hear it said both ways. I could care less or I couldn't care less. It's been brought up in movies and comedy routines as well. I don't know how people got "I could care less" stuck in there heads but it's been said enough that it gets repeated and people just don't really think about it hard enough to realize it doesn't make sense.
Kind of weird.
