If I may add.....someone said that the power comes from the hip, indeed, and from the photo it looks as though you are not "twisting" your hips into the kick therefore not using all the power you could. Not only that, by not pivoting your hips when throwing a kick, be it a roundhouse or side kick, you could possibly damage your hip sockets. After awhile of throwing improper technique you will notice your hip joints actual aren't as fluid anymore....the bones actually "grind" against each other.
Hey, but on the bright side.....if you love it, keep doin it but train with proper technique. As someone said, speed and power will come.
