Round 2 - Evans pawing his jab again. Straights exchanged by both. Lead right for Nogueira, who's starting to open up a little bit. Straight left for Nogueira. Low kick for Evans. Nogueira defends a takedown with ease and deliver a straight left. Moderate pace again as both appear hesitant to really commit to anything. Evans does land a nice right hand to the body. Less than two minutes, and Nogueira kicks to the body. Evans shoots in, but Nogueira sprawls out well and returns to the feet. Nogueira has now become the aggressor. Less than a minute. Evans has a high kick blocked at the end. Not much to score in the round, but MMAjunkie.com leans toward Nogueira, 10-9.

Round 3 - Fight could be on the line. They open in similar fashion. Evans is looking at various levels, but he still has yet to really let his hands go. Evans just pawing the jab as Nogueira catches it with his right hand. Nogueira kicks to the body. Evans opens up with three punches that don't land. Crowd getting restless. Evans fires a big hook, but Nogueira slips it and returns fire. Nogueira catches an inadvertent eyepoke. Lavigne calls in the doctor to take a look. No damage done, and we fight on. Halfway mark. Evans pumping the feeling jab out there, but Nogueira is the one finding openings. Evans rushes in on a takedown but falls short. Nogueira kicks the body and scores with a straight. No one really dominating this fight. With 90 seconds left, it's there for the taking. Nogueira the busier fighter so far. Evans misses on another takedown. Knee to the body fro Nogueira. Time winding down. Crowd comes alive with boos. That clinch in the final seconds. Knees traded at the bell. Both fighters raise their arms, but MMAjunkie.com sees the final round for Nogueira, 10-9, and awards him the fight 29-28. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira def. Rashad Evans via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
