Greg Jackson, Couture, Shamrock and Warren to coach Spike TV Bellator reality show

Greg Jackson, Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock and Joe Warren to coach Spike TV Bellator MMA reality show

Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Bellator's new MMA reality show on Spike TV will feature four coaches: Randy Couture, Frank Shamrock, Joe Warren and Greg Jackson. Couture and Shamrock are former UFC champions. Warren is a former Bellator champ and Greg Jackson is the current coach of UFC champs Jon Jones and Georges St. Pierre.

We posted last week that UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture has signed a deal to coach Bellator's upcoming MMA reality show on Spike TV. Now Hollywood Reporter has reported who the other coaches will be:

Fight Master will see Couture join fellow coaches Greg Jackson, Frank Shamrock and Joe Warren as they oversee 32 up-and-coming fighters looking to fight their way through a win-or-go-home format into the Bellator tournament and a six-figure cash prize.

The Amazing Race creators Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri, via their Profiles Television Productions banner, are on board to executive produce the series. Spike has ordered 10 hour-long episodes of Fight Master, which will likely bow in the summer.

In light of Dana White's furious reaction to Couture's decision to participate in the Bellator reality show, it will be very interesting indeed to see how he responds to Greg Jackson's decision to appear on the Spike show. Dana has announced that Randy Couture will not be allowed to corner fighters on UFC events (although some have questioned if they even have the power to make that decision).

It will be very interesting to see if the UFC blocks or attempts to block Jackson from cornering his fighters in future UFC events. Jackson coaches UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones and Welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre among many others.

White has made no secret of his loathing of Jackson, calling him a "f**king sport killer" after he advised Jon Jones to turn down a short notice fight against Chael Sonnen which forced the cancellation of UFC 151.
