Since I'm still in my existential phase it certainly does make you think. I realize as you get older there's a lot more of what you mentioned.

Same here, class mate died in an IED explosion for Operation Iraq Freedom and another in Afghan. More than 90% of the deaths I know were all violent deaths. Only one passed away from natural causes.
