Cardio help, injury related.

Ok, I pretty severly sprained my ankle about 3 months ago. My range of motion is still somewhat limited without pain, it's decidedly better but I still can't run on it or make quick side to side moves. I'm kind of lost as to what to do for my cardio as I'm starting to gain a few extra pounds that I really don't want. Any suggestions for me?
