Round 1 - Referee Leon Roberts in the cage for this bantamweight matchup. Tezuka takes the center and offers up a few low kicks as Lee circles. Lee keeping distance early, and Tezuka shuffles his feet in the center. He drives into a clinch and keeps control of the action as Lee tries desperately to circle away. Tezuka pressing in from the outside. Lee avoids a trip and lands a few knees up top, forcing Tezuka to back away. Lee reaches with a few punches, which allows Tezuka to clinch again and push things to the cage. Tezuka controlling the action and positioning, but he's not doing much damage. Harris trying to work a few short punches, but his effort is focused on defending the takedown. Roberts offers a warning and then breaks them up with 30 seconds left. Round 2 - Lee misses a kick early. Tezuka shoots in shortly after. He falls for a leg after missing the shot. Lee pulls his leg to safety and takes top position. Tezuka spins and attacks the leg again. He's working on the right leg. Lee's arm briefly trapped, as well. He calmly pulls both free and looks to take the back, but they scramble up to the feet. This time Tezuka gets a takedown and controls his opponent's body. Lee works to a seated position, but Tezuka is controlling his waist and drags him away. Lee puts an arm down and pushes himself back to the feet. Lee looks to strike on the restart, ad Tezuka waves him on. Final minute of the round. Tezuka looks to get inside again. He does, but he falls to his back. He doesn't want Lee to get top, so he scrambles up before the bell. MMAjunkie.com gives it again to Tezuka, 10-9.
Round 3 - Lee looking to capitalize on the feet in the early going. Tezuka slowly walks him down and gets in on a single-leg attempt. Lee defends well against the cage, and Tezuka eventually has to back away. Clock winding away, and Lee is not finding any room at all to work. Crowd does not like Tezuka's grinding style. He's controlling the positioning, but he's certainly not doing much in terms of damage. Roberts again pulls them apart. It doesn't take long before Tezuka is again shooting on a leg and looking for a takedown. Lee again defends well, and Tezuka backs away. Lee comes out swinging, but Tezuka slips the punches and drives back in for a takedown. He's holding the right leg. Final seconds, and Lee will finish on the feet, but he just didn't have room to offer up any offense.
