at whoever said something about Boxing after my first post,
I do know the UFC use to go by Boxing Commission guidelines. That was the reason for Greasegate back in the day. In Boxing, you're allowed to rub Vaseline on your back because those ropes will rub you raw. UFC loosely followed those guidelines, hence GSP having Vaseline on his back. Greasegate was the catalyst for Unified MMA Guidelines, which does not say anything about a champ vacating his belt if he misses weight. Even when MMA in general loosely followed Boxing rules, Filho never lost his title when he came in overweight for his defeat to Chael Sonnen. I've never found anything saying the champ loses if he misses weight. Diaz is stupid for thinking he gets special treatment because..., well he's "special."
