You're out for two years! Geez! That's an eye opener. Must be a sign to reassess what you want to do with your career; continue school, new ventures, do things you never got the chance to do.
Watched Vikings earlier. Def. not GOT level, but it's still pretty entertaining! Now Mad Men kinda fell off a bit. Finished reading Major Dick Winters "Biggest Band Of Brother." If anyone wants to learn about true leadership this is the book to read.
What was the most difficult experience you had to endure?
Major Winters: To think under fire and to be fair when not in combat. He was explaining how he did not want to become friends with his soldiers because he knew it would gut him emotionally when they were gone. He goes on to explain the other leadership qualities of other officer.
*There's a reason why his company survived the war and was engaged in the most pivotal battles of D-Day.
This book actually gave me a new perspective on things.
*Note I'm also reading a book simultaneously about the German Generals. It's weird because you get their perspective on how they fought the great war.
