Every athlete lifts weights still just different kinds of exercises. Rich Franklin does circuit training which is INSANE. Basically one hour of lifting (mid weights) with 0 rest in between different stations. It's like military training.
I just read somewhere that humans have the longest endurance out of most animal species. Interesting.
