Apparently they'd been thinking about it already but I was running the floor too well for them to want to move me and my surgery just forced their hand a little.

Dude let me tell you something man. Sometimes funny things happen in a good way. Enjoy it and make the most of it. Before long you'll be working in the upper level management or even an executive in that particular job or another. Make that cheddar and think about your long term career. You're already a coach so you know certain elements of management.
